I’m Saturneric, but you can just call me Eric. I’m currently pursuing a master’s degree in Informatics in Germany.

This site is primarily written in Chinese. Some important articles are translated into English, often with the help of AI, so the English version is less comprehensive than the Chinese one. If you’d like to explore more of the site, please refer to the Chinese version.

English is not my native language, but I have no trouble reading or writing it. AI-assisted translation simply makes maintaining a multilingual site a little easier.

My Setup

I use all three major desktop operating systems. Linux is my primary development environment, while macOS and Windows are used for specific tasks. Firefox is my browser of choice across all of them.

Most of the services I use day to day also run on my own servers, including this website, Git hosting and CI, email, DNS, and more, currently spread across around sixty containers.

Outside of Work

Gaming, reading Wikipedia, mostly about history, and astronomical observing.
